I paint places from my imagination. I like to see a cross section of where something or someone lives. My new series of work has started incorporating shapes that resemble under water creatures and caves. Some of the paintings are like looking through a tunnel, I want to provoke a feeling of breathing underwater. Caves are a natural space that is also a place to live, and I like to imagine what kind of creatures live in caves.
